The basalt stones of volcanic origin are smooth, with flat surface. Thanks to their porosity they can retain heat for a long time and gradually release it in the skin, thus penetrating deeply into the tissues. They are used on the body, through gentle circular or unidirectional massage, to obtain a relaxing and decontracting effect.
